Wish I'd have seen this post a few days ago. Had the exact same issue with my fan belt. I used a zip tie to get it on I bought my belt from NAPA and the tool it came with looked different. It did not fit on the back of the balancer.

THE BAD NEWS::: less than 24 hours after pickup I am now experiencing misfire and the control module is not communicating per OnStar Diagnostic. Have service engine light and all three of the traction control lights illuminated on the dashboard. appointment set Monday morning to bring her back after they had it a week already.
Probably something small.

Wire harness connector come undone or something?

Either way that sucks for the weekend.

That was actually a pretty fast lifter swap... Good thing you're all under warranty...

That service record thing still baffles me... I need to dig up reciepts for my Tahoe then...

I got a bad plug in the box before. Something so simple.

SCT Tuner said #6 misfire so I swapped the #1 with the #6 and then SCT said #1 missfire is how I knew.

Good to know you're straight.
