help with factory sunroof
the other day i was getting into my car when i noticed a noice that i never herd before as i closed the door... kinda sounded tiny... so later on that same day i was checking things out when i noticed that as i shut the door all windows up the sunroof pops open just alittle and shuts real fast.. so i got back inside the car and pushed up and the sunroof and yes it did pop up on the back side of it... i never noticed this before and never had that sound before..SO.. i was wondering if this happens to other cars.. i have a 2010 2 ss/rs.. not sure if that matters but anyways... if someone coukld tell me if this is normal or not that would be great... thanks for all your help...

I would agree with cb. A quick check up at the dealer have this issue all straightened out for you. Hopefully it's a quick and simple fix for you. Let us know how things go.

are your windows indexing? if not the air pressure may be forcing it up.

Same thing happened to me man. My dealer swapped out the sunroof motor and now it works like a charm, no noise.
I would also notice the noise going through a carwash when the dryers were blowing on the car really hard. Once again, new motor fixed that as well. |
