Why the need for "ZL1 high-capacity fuel pump and additional fuel pickups" if this is the same old ls3? Maybe this is needed to supply larger injectors?

Need it for the high g cornering.
The original '88 1LE had additional baffles in the fuel tank.
My '87 iroc would cut out in fast turns even if there was 5 gallons in the tank.

I've been holding off for buying a Camaro since the first debut.. I STILL have yet to get one.. (too many tickets :-) ) but NOW the time has come and I think that this 1LE is perfect. I hope that the "CAMARO" across the windshield is optional though. Other than that.... THIS WILL be my car.. if not.. I'll settle for an SS with all the amentities.. Really have been waiting for the "7 inch" touch screen. The aftermarket kit was okay, but it was just something about it that I didn't like. Oh well... No more of that!... Good Job GM!

yeah that's true. i am more intrigued by the overall 2012 vs. 2013 differences (price, performance, features). sounds like 2013 is more expensive but with a new exhaust and head unit. i just commented on the 1LE package because there isn't a 2013 Camaro (only) thread available to share my thoughts...

first of all you cannot compare a lambo with a camaro. that's a car worth 6 figures that has a unique style only few can own. i just think a camaro shouldn't get too flashy. it's too affordable a car to be unique to the point of looking out of place. FWIW i think the Boss is WAY too flashy as well.

The 2SS +1LE will just exceed 40k. In the OP, a lot of the options are listed as "standard" on the 2SS

Wow! The 1LE Camaro is going to be one heck of a Camaro to be capable of sub 3 times at VIR. Now there is pretty much no reason to own a Boss 302 unless you are only a Mustang fan that is. All I can say is I CANT WAIT to see them put the 1LE up against a Boss 302 LS. Also let me just say that I think I will start saving my money RIGHT NOW for another dream car of mine that I HOPE I can get in the future- My future dream car is a 6th Gen Camaro Z28 in a BLUE color that is the BEST shade of blue im talking a TRUE blue not too light and not too dark. I can see it now with Z28 in white on the sides or maybe Z28 in Red on the front grill and back and sides. FBODFATHER MAKE THIS DREAM HAPPEN!

It's great to see the improvements to the Camaros interior it looks GREAT! And I cant wait to see what is in store for the future Camaros! If I can get a new Z28 around a $35,000 price range I will be happy!
