Start with a cold air intake dude gives a nicer deeper sound, make sure to get a tune for it.. pull all the HP and torque you can out of the CAI with that tune

Hey Crisco,
So you have a V6 like me so I recommend at most only a few performance mods because at the end of the day you can be as fast an SS, but by then you would have spent more than the difference in the V6 and SS price and you will lose your warranty. However, an exhaust and CAI is nice! So I recommend cosmetic all the way. See some of my mods in my sig. Any peak your interest?

What year is your Camaro? Some performance mods aren't compatible on 2012 cars and they also have less choices.
BTW... Stay away from K&N |

Performance or Cosmetic? Cosmetic is a personal choice so that's your call. I have colorshift halos in my car so I can get my halos to turn any color. If you want that, I'd recommend the jdp color changing package since you don't have to crack your headlights open with their option. There are loads of body kits, spoilers, wheels, and just about anything else you can stomach! One of the perks of having a Camaro!!!
Performance: This one is a bit different. Again, this is a personal choice but I can give you some advice. Since you have a 2010, you have all the options I have. I've done tons of research. Cold air intakes - The big three right now are... Vararam, Cold Air Inductions, and Injen. They all put out about the same power but it really depends on what you want. Exhaust is a personal choice but if you go to the v6 llt section, one of the first threads you will see is a compilation of every single exhaust setup every tried and recorded for this car. Anything specific you want me to answer? I'm here to help |

There's nothing short of turbos that'll make a stock 6 cyl as fast as as a stock SS.. your talking about a diff of 105whp and 120engine HP... let's be realistic..

The best exhaust I've heard on a 6cyl is a corsa catback exhaust.. very nice and clean.. great on performance as well.. if you like sound more than power check out the MRT V2 axel back exhaust
