Those GFX really make the car don't they? I also like the ZLI grille insert, though when the time comes for me, I may go for a heritage look with SS badging in place of the bowtie.

Installed the heritage grill on mine and it looks good, kept the bow tie as I have red vinyl on it and matches the red stripe..

Hey Magilla, have you found vinyl that exactly matches the 45th red stripe?
So far I've not been able to find a perfect match here on the east coast. I've used a red on front and rear bow but would happier if it was a closer match.

Could I possibly use the word "match" in every sentence?

For me "6 banger" is a term of endearment or a "pet" name for a V6 that you love. I remember when I was in High School in the late '70s we referred to a 68 Rally Green V6 three-speed that we had a blast in as a "6 Banger".

Just a side story, my neighbor who was several years older gave a friend and I the car for three months with his only stipulation to give the car back without any body damage. He was putting in a 427 and M22 and didn't care what we did to the drive line. We had a blast doing burn outs and running the crap out of that car. In fact, it was that car that made me become a Camaro guy. We hit an exit ramp at a speed where my 66 V8 Mustang would have crashed and burned, but the 68 Camaro handled the curve without a problem. We all had V8s but still loved that V6 first gen so we called it a "6 Banger" to differentiate it from all the V8 Camaros my friends and I had at the time.
