I live in NC and purchased from BeckyD. She had it shipped to my door. She is a wonderful and respectful person to deal with and does a lot to make her customers happy.

I can see that because you had to go where they were. It took almost a year for the dealership in my town to actually have Camaros that were not spoken for. But now that they are readily available seems like it would make more sense to buy one locally, unless someone has the exact car you are looking for down to every option or the deal is crazy good.

My thoughts on drop shipping:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39230 Eric (Classic Chevy - Grapevine) is the closest to you, if I weren't in the business, I'd be buying from him |

That is a very valid point. Just got to make sure you get to drive by some good scenery.

All 3 dealers have excellent reputations on this site. If you can save a little money, or come out close to equal after travel expenses, travel and buy from a dealer that both understands the Camaro product as well as Camaro nuts who buy the product (very important -LOL). I suggest you travel and pick up your car.
DFW area is close enough, good old South West Airlines (use to live in Dallas) and Tulsa to DFW is a short commute flight. Michigan, one days drive from Tulsa. Not sure about Wisconsin from Tulsa. Factor in airfare and travel expense but also factor in dealer understanding of Camaro nuts. Perhaps, since you are traveling to pick up your new ride, the dealer will send a curtsey van to pick you up at the airport or pay for the cab from airport to dealership. A good dealer will work with you. I was lucky, my Ottawa dealer is high volume, understands their Camaro nut buyers. I waited close to 3 months to take delivery of my 2011. My sales rep, knowing I was a little nuts was so kind to offer me a 2010 Camaro loaner for a week while I was waiting just to make my wait a little more bearable. I did borrow one for a day which did make me happy. Buy from a dealer that understands your passion. It helps to let them know you are comparing Mustang's and Camaro's as I was comparing product and prices (LOL). When it comes time to service the car stay local and develop a relationship with a local dealer. Service department does not care where you bought the car. |

I bought mine from Camaro Scotty and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He truly cares about his customer and their experience and not just the sale. If you have any questions shoot me a PM or visitor message and I'll be happy to answer your questions. That being said Eric @ ClassicChevrolet and Anna at Spartan Chevrolet are also stand up people that I wouldn't think twice before buying from.
