Complete Blackout

So I am trying to completely blackout my Black camaro. I have a 2013 2LS and I just want to make sure I am thinking of everything and suggestions on whether or not I should do it myself and where I should get parts from.
  • Head lights
  • Tail ights take emblem off front and back
  • Should I tint my windows dark or should I put vents on the windows
  • wheels
  • brake covers
  • "camaro" on side

Where should I get the parts and am I missing anything?

Don't forget the sidemarkers and paint the trim rings on your wheels.

Depends on HOW you want to accomplish this task... you can look up headlight armour and get their black out kits (head light, tail lights, side markers, and fog lights) VHT night shade (all lights), or plasti-dip certain items (bowties, CAMARO writing, logos, etc)...

you missed side markers, tail light bezels, bowties, and fog lights.. and as far as your windows I would suggest familiarizing yourself with your local city / state laws before tinting windows, blacking out headlights and taillights...

Black out the tail light with VHT "night shades" can get it from autozone, pep boys, walmart, etc. To get the best results id wet sand them with 1500 grit sand paper and if youre not comfortable with that they sell blackout kits online. Take off the tail light bezels and paint them for shiny black or plastidip them for flat black. I plastidipped my back bowtie and bought a "bow tie delete" online. Dipped the camaro lettering and i used the VHT night shade stuff on my side marker lights. I did it all my self and it turned out great and im 18 with little to no experience with anything automotive.

Here are my suggestions,
  • Take your side markers and break bezels down to your local macco and have them paint matched for ($40.00)
  • Tint your windows, tail lights, reverse lights, and fogs if you have them ($200)
  • Plasti-dip the rims and the camaro side lettering (5.00)
  • Drake Auto Bowtie Delete ($40.00)
  • Not sure about the breaks but im sure macco could paint those as well

MSG me if you need links for any of that stuff

I'm planning on getting new rims regardless so ill leave those alone but I think my first step is going to be to go down to Maaco and figuring out exactly what they will paint and then working from there so Thank You

I did same thing.. blacked out everything and I have 1LS (manual). Check out my build thread here (still figuring out why images aren't loading for my profile pic and signature). I blacked out everything. Windows 15%, side markerts, tail lights, reverse lights, tail light bezels, added fog lights, Razzi kit. Then accent color is blue, so have blue ambient lighting, footwells, dome, and got heritage grill coming I may accent blue up front but not sure yet.

Here is my build thread, you can see - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=298985
