The car was not even washed or detailed yet in the pics I posted.

No worries, Bro. If it was mine, I'd be posting pics of the train bringing it into town.

That car is sexy like Kate Beckinsale in PVC.

I really need to find one of these to look at closer, everytime I've seen a Blue Ray Metallic ZL1 it's been raining, or cloudy so haven't gotten to see the color in direct sun light to see how it pops.

Washed it, wiped it down with Z6 Spray detailer, Clayed it, Z6 Spray Detailer, then a coat of Z5 Polish with ZFX additive, then another coat of Z6 detail spray.

Last night I did a couple spots on the hood that it looked like there were buff marks from the factory. They were small, about 1 1/2" diameter, and easily came out with ZPC Zaino Paint Corrector. I will be doing another layer of Z5 and then a layer Z2. I have another trick I learned from Sal Zaino today that I will do when I get the product I need and everything else is done.

Wink ZL1 Convertible in Blue Ray

I actually like the name "Night Race Blue" which is what they chose to call this exact color on a '13 Corvette. Considering the purpose-built nature of the ZL1 (ie. race performance) calling it "Night Race Blue" would be more appropriate. Whatever it is called, I love the sparkle from the blue, silver, green and purple metallic particles in the clearcoat paint. My personal preference was for the BTQ 20" polished alum. wheels, however, the black look just fine as well. I tried to override the color for the top and select 34T Blue that comes on the "Dusk Edition" Camaro Convertible. Chevrolet rejected this selection and I had to take the only top choice available at this time. The 34T color top is available on the Corvette with NRB color and I can't imagine there is any physical difference in the soft top for the "Dusk Edition" Camaro or the ZL1.

The blue top would have looked awesome on the Blue Ray ZL1!! Apparently it is reserved for use on the Dusk Edition exclusively.

I was actually going to see if there was a way to order the tan top on an Inferno Orange, but I found the car I got in stock at a local dealer.
