AAC paints them also. GRN ENV has cyber grey to match the stripes.
It is actually a nice DIY project too.

What would be the best way to blackout the chrome edge of the bowtie without the centre?

Tape and patients.......plastidip if you want to return to original at some point. Scuff with sand paper and paint if its permanent....
