they put the mount for the plates in the trunk. the dealer puts it on. i havent said anything to my dealer yet but im gonna make it clear i dont want any holes in the bumper.

Our state requires them too. I had one on the front of my Silverado SS and removed it and built me an electric retractable bracket. If I find myself fortunate enough to buy a new Camaro I'll look into building one for it if there is room for one.

A lot of the time these brackets are installed right onto the bumper cover putting permanent holes in the front of your new car, that looks to be the case here too. Though the above pic doesn't look terrible, I still asked the dealer if he could possibly not install it, and I'll just wait for a warning from cops or something lol. There are a fair number of cars in my town that don't have from plates, including my neighbor's hehe so I will just take my chances.
