GOIN IN FOR SOME UPGRADES...

Thanks to all the folks that provided input to my many peformance questions and especially the thread about Renegade Performance Mustangs and Motorsports (RPMM).... Ol' Betsy has just over 1000 miles and is ready for some upgrades (trying to stay away from warranty issues, so no "Tune" for now...) Dropped her off @ RPMM in San Diego this afternoon for the following:
- CAI INC Induction
- Skip Shift Eliminator
- Flowmaster Cat Back AMT System
- PFADT Stage 2 Suspension package
- Richmond 411 Gears, install and speedo kit
- Barton Short Throw shifter

Greg and the guys @ RPMM will have it done next week, I'll let you know how it comes out! Can't wait!!

Talking Merry Christmas to Me.... PFADT, Barton, Flowmaster, Richmond and CAI!!

Well I got "ol" betsy back right before Christmas on the 23rd... and WOW! what a difference the 4:10 gears make! The guys @ Renegade (RPMM) were great to deal with.... ( I was refered through this forum). My whole idea was to stay away from huge warranty issues.... so the Gear, Intake, Exhaust, short shift and Phadt springs were the ticket. (no tune required, yet) The Richmond gears are fantastic, I love the "old Time" deep sound of the Flowmaster AMT exhaust, the Barton short throw is awsome and the driveability of the PFADT Stage -II suspension is phenomenal, the ride is not any stiffer than stock and the look of the car lowered by 1.25 " ia amazing. The last couple of items were the Skip shift and CAI Intake system which looks beautiful!. The link below shows the build... I highly recommend the guys @ Renegade if your in the San Diego area, and would also like to thank Dave @ Barton for getting the shifter shipped so quickly and also Chase @ Apex for the quick shipping of the CAI and skip shifter.

You did not have to change the tune for the gears? My old LS1 I had to change the tune for different wheels or gears.
