Competitive Mode

I know in my 1LE i can stick it in competitive mode to turn off TC and SC and will allow you to pin the gas and when you drop the clutch will allow only limited slip.

Is that a specific option I ended up with, 1le specific, or just an all out SS perk?

Been wanting to try it, but afraid of chatter. The weak link in the rear is the 1/2 shafts. I have seen a couple of them break in other cars.

Stabilitrac competitive mode...known as launch control by G.M. does just that help you launch for a race with the rpms up and keep the nannies on only altered to save your azz should you go sideways and get freaky with it somehow and need to counter steer. And yes launching in the 4000 rpm range does deliver a shock to the axle shafts so launching lower than up in the rpms is better for longevity of the cars shafts.

Are the parameters accessible via say HP Tuners or EFI Live? I tried it once and it is a hard launch. It would be nice to lower the RPM threshold.
