That is a good one.
Here was Ruby's & it was a good decision - mud guards (should be called gill chip preventers):

Ruby. i like those flares on your car. i am looking at a new 13 black vert. and your color and black are already painted for these flares. i just like the look and they prevent the rock chips too. i would have dealer throw those on my car at no charge. did you do the clear bra too on front bumper and facia and mirrors?

I decided against the clear bra because I did not want the line where it stops for one reason. I already had chips way up on the hood & even on the roof. Clear bra on the whole car was too much $. I decided I would just save the $ and get it a custom paint job at some point. Now I wish I had at least done the nose ( but not hood). The nose is a mess now. :( But I have had no more gill area chips since gettng the quarter flares.

Pulled the stock mufflers and installed Magnaflows,
I did this with less that 125 miles on my car.
I hated the look of those stock mufflers

I have to laugh because when I found chips around the gills on my car I was mine blown at how it could've happened. Sounds like I need these as well.

CAI looks sick. I want one so bad but I'm too poor right now. Hopefully next summer
