So I did hear from C7 today ...who offered me $55 off for the finish blems. I respectfully asked them to send me another wing or offer a reasonable refund for a blemished product. So theres that.

AC makes good stuff, look at all the other parts they make and I’ve barely seen a single complaint about any of them. I’d say give them a shot, it sounds like the price point will be very close to C7 Carbon.

Looking at your pictures there’s no way I’d put that wing on my car.

Same. i was thinking a few hundred dollars was fair for a blem. I'm not really happy with this experience. I still have to take my time to dismount/remount, package a wing up and return the old one. Great that they want to send something new, but have some respect for your customers time.

My first C7 Carbon wing was damaged and scratched during shipping.
They re-sent me a new one.
No need to return the old one, they asked me to cut it in 2-3 pieces and send them a picture of the destroyed one before they sent the 2nd one.
2nd was perfect.

At least you had some communication with C7. So far all I've gotten in my debacle is "I'll follow up" 3 times in a row. I'm really trying to be reasonable, but my patience is running thin.

That fitment is horrible and the finish is just as bad, no chance I would ever consider one after seeing yours.

I didn't order from you guys for my wing. Just a general comment, not directed at you. Sorry for the confusion. I was referencing my post in the other thread about 1LE wing replacements. Unless of course WeaponX orders through you.

I'll update my post/review once they send a new one out, or I hear back about a refund - Anwar did say he'd ask management about a better refund, which I'd actually prefer to playing musical parts.

On another note, I realized that there are some angled shims which might correct the bolt angle of the through stanchion bolts - so If I do have to play musical wings, I can try one of those to see if the hardware stack (washer/lockwasher) is better aligned.

Just my 2 cents.

As a performance note, I did have a chance to run the car at elevated highway speeds and there is a noticeable improvement in how "planted" the rear feels - not sure if there is a cost (added lift) in the front yet or not, it will be a couple months until I can get on a track I've previously driven to do a PDR comparison.
