Check with the manufacturer to make sure the pipe diameter is 2.75" where it bolts to the OEM cat pipes. All other Camaros are 2.5". Z/28 is the only Camaro with 2.75"

Sounded pretty good from Eric O's videos and he is a straight shooter.

I know there was a bunch of people getting their exhaust systems at C5F3, but the Z/28 wasn't out yet. Man if I had the pickup with a trailer, I would have hauled off with all the old systems they left behind.

I would definitely call the manufacturer......no listing of diameter, and fits 2012-2015 Z/28's?? Did I miss the first two years of Gen V Z/28 production??

Lool, no the Z28 is 14/15 only. I noticed they also list the headers for 10-15 ZL1 and Z28, these will not fit the Z28. You will need a Z28 specific only header.

Total pain in the rear looking for a cat back exhaust...

I emailed Borla sales and they dont make them for the z/28 in fact he asked me if the z28 had the LS7 so there is no interest to make these exhausts it seems.

Kooks supposedly makes one specific to the Z/28, but have not seen any pictures of the exhaust, one installed or how it sounds.

Why do you want to change the exhaust system?

Not enough Z28's made for the after market world to get really interested.
Im perfectly happy with the factory exhaust. Changing to headers for only 10 to 15 more hp isn't worth it to me. Im pretty sure after a cam upgrade I will leave the factory exhaust.

Headers are more like 30 without to 50 with a tune.. Its a day / night difference.. Stock Z28 is breathing through a straw.. I would say most of the gain is below the curve, from 1500-6500RPM, not much at redline..

Interesting... would like to know how much with a tune and not changing them.
Ifs worth the hassle for 50 hp.

A tune will void the warranty, if you care about that sort of thing. In the 5th gen Camaro chassis header install is a snap, you have plenty of room to work.

Im just curious why anyone would want to change the catback exhaust on a Z/28.

I believe the issue is the extreme neck down to 2" at the OEM manifold exit..
