A dealer has offered me $44k for my LAST Pre-production Z/28, #69.
I will let them have it Friday morning unless someone wants to match the offer and STEAL this car from me.
Forced to get it out of here due to garage space. http://m.ebay.com/itm/2014-Chevrolet...SELLING_ACTIVE

Storage off site is not a option? Storage unit or grand/parents house?

If it had A/C, I'd be all over it. Good luck and hope someone picks it up instead of a stealership!

Can you please explain what a pre-production Z/28 is? Possibly interested.

It was a CTF (captured test fleet). Before the start of regular production there is always CTF vehicles to mile up and validate before public release. CTF cars are always saleable versions, so they get auctioned off when the time comes.

The car was put in dealer inventory at 188 miles, that's when I picked it up and am the only owner. Let me know asap as the stealership gets it tomorrow unless I receive full payment or at least a healthy deposit from somebody.

Pre production or not, you are getting thrown a bone from the dealer. Take it.

Man, I want this, had it been last year, would have been all over it. Just not in a financial position to jump on it in the next month or so

This. My local dealer offered me 42k for my CTF car last year when it only had 2700 miles. Now I'm at 4700.

Undervalued because so many were bought and then traded in w/ low miles. Hard to sell brand new at anything close to MSRP when there are a lot of low mileage versions selling for mid $40s. However, many of us also capitalized on it. Anyway, that's the way it has played out till now. Sit tight. Values will rise. And, that's not a knock on anyone who sold theirs. The car simply isn't for everyone. Some found that out the hard way.
