Sport truck/suv Tires?
So I've been searching for some 305/45/20's that'll fit on the stock wheels (9.5"), but the only ones I can find are for sport trucks/suv's. I'm no tire guy, but these should still be okay to put on car right?

Not sure. The biggest difference is going to be the speed rating of the tire. Your Camaro will likely come with Z-rated tires. Most sport-truck/SUV are H-rated. You'll be giving up extended running at higher speeds and, most likely, performance handling to a degree if you step down in speed ratings.
I'm sure someone here can give you a better explanation. |
