The Best Buying Experience Ever!

Bumblebee is ours! I had a fantastic experience buying my camaro through Jerry Hamm Chevrolet in Jacksonville. All the dealer’s in my area were making it hard to buy a camaro at a fair price, so I expanded my search to other cities. I settled on Jerry Hamm Chevrolet largely due to the answers that Steve Kielley (their internet sales manager)gave me over the phone. Some of the information/vibes that I gathered by our conversation included; 1. They were an honest dealership. 2. They made everyone wait their turn for allocation. 3. They would charge a fair price and give me any incentives that I qualified for. 4. They were going to put up with a camaro customer that was going to call every few weeks. They even put up with me waffling back and forth on color and options.
After 103 days, our car was in and ready to be picked up! We drove up to Jacksonville from Merritt Island. The weekend was going to be great! We had tickets to the Jaguars vs. Rams game and would also be picking up our new car! My family first went to the dealership where we met Steve, Roger (Sales Manager), David (Finance) and Mr. Hamm himself. They were all great! Steve made sure that they didn’t even clean off the wax pencil mark on the rims. He thought I might like that, and I did! (The number that was on the front right and back left rims was 68 for those that care.) There was NO pressure at any time and I was given a brochure to keep forever. David explained all the warranty and service options and we picked out the one we felt was best for our family. They were all so cool. They were so nice that they let us keep our car at the dealership until after the football game. Roger drove 20 minutes to come and open up the gate so we could start Bumblebee on his trip to his new home. As a parting gift Roger even gave me a poster that had a silver camaro and Bumblebee on it! If you want a fair and satisfying car buying experience then call Steve at Jerry Hamm Chevrolet. Tell him that Bart Drummond told you that he would treat you right and he will do everything humanly possible to treat you fairly. Here is a picture of Steve with Bumblebee and my kids with our new camaro!

This car is so much nicer than I imagined! I guess the closest car to this that I have owned would be my 02 Ram Air Convertable Trans Am. I was fearful that the new camaro would not be as good in all around performance. Silly me! This car is faster, better handling, better put together..... heck.... Better in every way! Roll on power is incredible!
I am so glad I did not buy that Charger SRT8 that I test drove four months ago. It was so far behind in all areas..... Thank you God for the new Camaro!

Great pick up story. I ordred from Steve a few weeks ago. He was very nice over the phone when I spoke to him, way more than any of the other local dealers.

I hope to have a similar experience when I go to pick up my car.

And Go Jags!
