2012 Camaro 2LS vs 2009 Civic SI
Who would win here, and how close would it be: 2012 Camaro 2LS (automatic) vs 2009 Civic SI (4-door manual). Both cars are stock.

I don't think the Camaro would have any trouble.
From Edmunds: " Performance Thanks to variable valve timing, the Honda Civic Si's 2.0-liter four-cylinder packs 197 horsepower, which is reasonable for its class, as is its 0-60-mph time of 7 seconds flat. But those numbers can be deceptive in the real world. The engine's 139 pound-feet of torque is a whopping 68 lb-ft less than the VW GLI's, causing a dearth of low-end pull when scooting around town or passing on the highway." http://www.carthrottle.com/test-driv...ivic-si-sedan/

Sounds like a good place, I would like to run a v6 Mustang too. Btw, nice color choice, I love the grabber blue. I will pm you with some info. I am going to make a run or so soon, still need to wait 500 miles though (just have 1001 on it now), going to finish the brake in, then add oil and I will be good to go.

Dude everything beats a V6. Get a V8 if your going to race on the streets.

so that being said if you race me you'll lose, if you race that other guy you'll kill him. My time would put me at #6 on this websites v6 fast list. I was scope out the driver, ask him what rpm's he launches at and how much traction he has in 1st gear. and if he power shifts. these answers i could tell you in 2 seconds if he's gonna run a good time. the proper launch is 3000 RPM's and you have ZERO traction all the way through 1st gear. this is so that when you hit 2nd gear you shift and your rpms stay above the magic 6k rmps iVTEC point. Also i was NEVER able to run a 14 without power shifting. so if he doesn't know what this is than he's done.

It's sad but true. Hell the new Camry is actual competition. That means time to mod
