Sat is a few days off so lets see what the fire situation is friday and decide then what route to take to Reno. Totally bummed about the fire situation as I was looking forward to this run. It will still be fun regardless with all who join us sat.

Yah, we can wait but I dont want to put anyone or anything in harms way or create work for anyone....fires create all kinds of changes to wildlife and such......I would anticipate we will probably go through tahoe but i will take a good look friday and we can make a call from there

Chuck and gang,

Im up here in Reno now for work and just had a great time at the grand sierra. They have an autocross set up in one of the parking lots and i would HIGHLY suggest you all go. Heres the deal...

You sign a release form of course then hop in one of their cars. (You cant drive your own). They have camaros corvettes and mustangs. After you do a lap in the car you o directly to the next line and go over the course again riding with a professional driver. Ill tell you what, drifting in a ZL1 almost made me pee my pants. (Just a little). Ooh... almost forgot. Its FREE!!

Im going again tomorrow and again on Saturday. Id like to hook up with you guys if it can be worked out. Im heading back home o. Saturday sometime. Word of caution, lots of streets are closed downtown so just be patient. See ya soon.

OK....everybody, lets just cut bait and go up Hwy 50.....We can go thru So. Lake Tahoe and up thru emerasld bay and over to Incline Village. Will be a nice ride. I really want to get over to the grand sierra and hit that ride and drive......I would like to leave around 8am from Folsom. Let me know what you think. There is a Starbucks on the North east side of the Hwy 50 / E. Bidewll intersection. Lets meet there at 8am, leaving by 815 and up we go.....
