Just spoke with the Holiday Inn Express in Bowling Green. Abby,said she will match the group rates the other hotels offered. She also said if we wanted to 'block' rooms, she could help.

This hotel is exactly 2 miles from the Host and very close to the interstate. Great reviews too.

We got lucky and got a room at the host hotel because some one made a cancellation.

Couple more weeks for the new Fairfield Inn. I'll check in on it again next week and get an up date.

The HIE in Post #2 has blocked off rooms for us too and it's right down the road from the host and closer to the tracks. We should have a large group of folks at that hotel as well.

How far is the Hampton Inn from the host Hotel. I already have a room booked there for about 125.00. Would it be better if I book a room at the HIE instead? Thanks

Hampton only about a mile from host hotel. HIE is night door to the Hampton

You're good at the Hampton. They are both 2 miles from the host and closer to the freeway and the track so everyone has to drive right by you to get there.

Our block rate at HIE is 109

Doesn't hurt... and if we need to make a call for a group rate LMK.

If they won't match 109 then cancel and go with HIE
