Rattle after tune

So I've had my Trifecta tune for a few days now, and it's pretty cool except one little issue. On cold startup, the car revs noticeably higher and there is a distinct rattle that can be heard as it peaks before going back down to idle. This is incredibly embarrassing to have this noise coming from a brand new car.

I'm sure the rattle is just a symptom of the higher cold RPMs but where should I start looking to isolate the cause? What's most likely, loose heat shield? I already replaced my tunnel brace so I'm 99% sure it's not the exhaust pipes hitting there.

I don't really know why the startup RPM is affected in the tune, I wish it wasn't.

No, the tune does not affect rpm. Do you have a manual or auto, and when you are driving do you notice your rpm higher or is it just at cold start up?

I have the same issue on my newly tuned Camaro! I installed my Trifecta tune last Wednesday. It's intermittent, however. I am trying to capture it on video but whenever I try to record it, the rattle doesn't happen.

It sounds like it's emminating from the middle of the undercarriage.

I'm not sure if it's a rattle or more of a clicking noise, but it's very rapid and only last for a second or two.

I had the same and it turned out to be the bolts to the exhaust clamp was vibrating against the body at the high idle. I turned the clamp so the bolts were not close to the body.

The tune does not alter the idle, however the Ghost Cam at high idlel during cold start will make the car shake more causing more noice from vibration. After the initial cold start idle calms down it goes away.

It sure sounds like higher RPM. I guess that's just in my head. It only lasts for like a second, so pinning it down is going to be tricky.

Double check oil level. The VVT valvetrain is oil critical.

Its not at idle, it's at the high RPM the car hits when you start it. It only lasts as the RPMs peak at start up, then immediately quiets down. I've narrowed it down to the front half of the car, and the oil level is good.

I got a slight rattle. I'm thinking its the internals of the catch can. That's when I got my rattle.

I got mine less than a week ago. I think CamaroDreams got his very recently as well. I wonder if this is isolated to newer tunes since I haven't heard of this issue with others who have had the Trifecta tune for a longer amount of time.
