It would just take too long. Especially as I've gotten older lol...Switched to microfiber towels and I save so much time now. Although the chamois is great on windows so I still keep mine around.

I actually use my microfiber to mostly dry the car first then use the moist chamois to finish off the job. Results are the same and it takes a lot less time too!

i do the opposite, i use the chamois first to get most of the water and then use the MF to finish the job. works well for me

No it does not. They just fell by the wayside with all new lower cost choices.
