Looks great! How did you paint the brembos lettering? White caliper paint?

Finally got around to doing mine with G2 paint and got decals from EBay. Decided on black since my wheels weren't chrome but had they been I would have gone with RJT from G2 and will should I chrome them later.

Too bad the factory gray fades the way that they do. 3400 miles and mine looked terrible!

I recommend painting the sides and center of the disk as well since it tends to rust.

Wow...I like it and have thought about doing this. Do you need to take the calipers off and if so...how difficult is it? Thanks for the help.

yeah you need to take them off. of course taking them off is only two bolts and a hose(b-nut). put a tape or cork in the hole so the brake fluid doesn't run while paining..i it will trash the paint. then the disk slides off (one screw to remove). clean them both thoroughly. mask the shiny part of the disk as best you can with masking tape. doesn't need to be perfect. Only a few minutes to pull it all apart.

I painted the calipers then add the decal, then add clear coat. a did about 4 coats of each. 5 minutes between coats and it dries fast in the sun. I did the front one weekend and the back the next weekend. took about 4-5 hours, taking my time.

The important thing to do is bleed each caliper you took off really thoroughly after the system is back together. this is a piece of cake but if you don't do it you will really regret it. They sell a 1-man bleeder kit at auto parts stores for 9-12 dollars. Using the clear hose in there keeps the brake fluid from trashing all the new paint. fully and slowly pump the brake pedal about 20 times for each caliper and all the air should be out of the line.
