Post it up. The location is what I don't completely understand unless one of the heat shields for the exhaust manifold has come loose and rattling against something at idle. It wouldn't be the first time.
Front or rear?

ive had the same problem since I got the SOLO exhaust installed. I was just to lazy to bring it back and have them tighten the heat shield. But its gotten progressively worse so its probably time to bring it in and get it all tightened up

can you do that your self? or do you have to take it in the shop to have them do it?
i was thinking it was that, of some sort.

I had this after doing my headers and catback. What it was was the exhaust hitting the tunnel brace. I actually bought a replacement tunnel brace here. Little pricey but worth it.

I kind of doubt this is your problem with stock exhaust and no headers, but it couldn't hurt to crawl under there and check if there are any signs of rubbing on the pipes above the brace.

And the cheap way to clearance the tunnel brace is a couple flat washers. Not as sexy, but it works.
I'd look at the exhaust manifold heat shields first.

So I just called the dealer and told them the TSB # and there going to take a look at it. My buddy told me I should fight an try to get them to replace the motor because down the road ( out of warranty ) I'm going to be in a hole. The prob is I am missing thrust washers and I have a space and that is the noise I hear popping.
What do u guys think. Should I try for a new motor ?

I just posted this on my wrong post. The rattle is a manifold loose but the popping is from my car not having thrust washers
