Question on preference for Bowtie - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a black car with CGM Stripes. What would you guys think, Black vinyl for covering up the bowties or CGM Vinyl. And Flat or gloss.

CGM wouldn't be a color if it was flat. Go with black vinyl.

We have the same color car....

I ordered new bowties from the Parts Dept at my dealership. Took 5 days to come in despite it being on backorder when the order was placed. The bodyshop is painting them CGM w/ a clearcoat today. Tomorrow, I will go up there, and they will swap out the old w/ the new.

I think the CGM bowtie will tie in nicely w/ the CGM stripes against the black. I'll post pics tomorrow or Friday.

got out after my 3rd deployment to Iraq... wouldve reenlisted except our retention nco and 4ID already met their #s for the year, and therefore wouldn't offer me any assignments other than deployment #4 within 12 months of getting back from #3... and if i "cant stand to get a little sand in my boots, then get the f* out of the Army"... So I did... and moved back to MI and am livin w/ the fiance, and gonna go into the police academy in Jan... works for me.

yeah I am 92A QM officer, graduated from MSU. Im in 1BCT 10th MTN. Some your boys replaced us last fall on our 14 month, getting ready for another 12 month. Probably going to call it quits after this one.

I'd consider the Dark Charcoal Metallic bow ties from ridergraphix http://www.ridergraphix.com/2010_Cam..._Blackout.html

I have the hood spears and trunk blackout in the Dark Charcoal - I think its a better shade than black IMO.
