Must be nice. Someone hit my wifes Equinox in a Texas Roadhouse parking lot a few weeks ago with their door and left a nice dent in her fender. While I had her car parked perfect, the asshole was angled towards our car and very close to it. They whined about how they didn't do it, and how it was "just a car". Then they talked about how I must be perfect because I parked straight and there was nothing wrong with the way they parked because they were inside their lines. Woman was saying how she watched the door for her son getting out to make sure it didn't hit. Police said it happened on private property so there was nothing they could do about it.

I really don't care to hear about parking at the end of a lot across multiple parking spots being such a bad and horrible thing because it's people like the ones I described above that make people have to do it for their own car's safety.

Many years ago, when I was 18 I bought a brand new car- a 2 door Dodge Omni (1979)

While sitting in the car in a parking lot, some 'old guy' back into it, and creased the rubber bumper. I got out and started yelling at him and he gave me the 'it's just a car' line. So, I kicked a huge dent into his driver door for him, after all, it's just a car.

I'm a much calmer person nowadays though.
