Anyone using the Aeroforce interceptor for fuel pressure?

I have the aeroforce and the fuel pressure kit, along with the 5v regulator. I cannot get this thing to work. It displays whatever I enter as the intercept (-18.8). I read that means the gauge isn't seeing any voltage from the sensor.

I don't have a multimeter to check things but I am going to get one this weekend.

How do you get this thing to work? If anyone has successfully done it, please post some pics for me of all the connections used. I followed the instructions and even ran some new wire tonight with the same results.

Mine reads the fuel pressure from the obd 2 port.

Hmm.... I read over and over again it won't do that. Which parameter? The rail pressure one?

When I had the interceptors installed mine worked as well but Im not sure how they had it hooked up but it was accurate.

Mine reads fuel pressure from the Obd2 port as well.

It just occurred to me that the obd2 port may not work for me. I am using a return style system and bypassing the fpcm... I am not at home to do anything about it. I am about to pay someone to get this thing to work for me.

You are correct. By bypassing the fpcm you will not be able to read fuel pressure from the obd2 port :(

Can you guys verify that the fuel psi reading through the ecm is accurate? especially in boost?

I have the aeroforce with the fuel pressure sender. Works great. Reads the same as the mechanical gauge.

Did you install it? Did you notice the huge bolded highlighted section of the instructions that say you can't unplug the obd2 plug without disconnecting the sensor first? If you did that, then you probably fried the sensor and it would act just like your describing.

I did get this figured out. The "add a fuse" was not getting power through it, as if it wasn't making contact. I ended up taking the add a fuse apart and taking the leg out and sticking it in next to the regular fuse (like a fuse tap) and that allowed the power to get through. Another issue developed right after I figured that out. While the gauge was plugged in, it quit working and would not power on again. I sent it in and aeroforce fixed it, stating a power module in the gauge fried. The sensor was fine. It reads very close to what the mechanical gauge read. Not enough difference to worry about.

Just be careful like I said and remember to unplug the gauge before unplugging the aeroforce from the obd2 port.
