ZL1 splitter height

There have been a number of threads about ground clearance on the ZL1. I measured the splitter today at the Dallas car show and it has just over 5.5" of clearance. This is a full inch better than the Corvette ZR1 or Z06, which is very significant, plus the distance from the tip of the splitter to the wheel contact visually looks much shorter. I think ground clearnce will not be an issue on the ZL1.

(If this is redundant from another post, sorry - don't have a cow, I just had not seen the actual measurement posted.)

MOOOOOOOOO! Thanks Rob! No one has really posted the actual height. Thank you! It's good to hear. There will be a learning curve for me regardless..... I'm not going to trust any approach with disregard.

Curbs yes, but should be fine on most inclines and speed bumps based on my experience with low splitters on corvettes and getting another inch. Back in parking is the only way to go as far as the curbs are concerned.

I wasn't expecting the auto to give my wife this much trouble! She doesn't have an iPhone to measure!

I'm in trouble.

The 5.5" inches is that in the center of the splitter or at the tires where it wraps around? The splitter clearance in front of the tires looks smaller in front of the front tires than in the middle of the splitter, from the pictures.

I measured at the very center of the splitter. It appears to be about equal to me, but I can check the sides when I go back.
