Pricing on 2013 2LT
New to the forums, but will be going to a not-so-local Chevy dealership this weekend to negotiate a price on a 2013 2LT Camaro Coupe with the following equipment:
Can anyone offer insight on what a reasonable equipment cost for the preceding build would be? I come up with about $32,500 before all the added taxes and fees... Any thoughts on the difficulty of getting said vehicle ordered this time of year and what the expected wait would be for delivery? Thanks for any input. |

Always use an online service like Vehix or Autobytel, etc. they will have 3-5 dealerships call you. Tell them exactly what you want and let them do the leg work and call you back only if they can give you what you want. It's a much better deal than sitting in the dealership all day and letting them wear you down. You'll be amazed how nice it is because they know you won't come in until you get what you want. Trade-in, financing, everything but signing should be done before you even agree to drive in to the dealership. I bought may last 7 cars this way. Good luck.

Quote process moving along...
So far, so good... I am entertaining one firm commitment and a second dealership that claims they will beat the other's price and terms. I will be visiting one or both this Sunday, July 1st to order my Camaro. If all goes well, I will ask the winning dealership's salesperson for permission to mention them by name and post my experiences here. Hopefully, if I am treated right, my experiences will allow someone else to get a good deal from the same dealership.
Thanks to all for the quick replies. |

Ordered and awaiting order number
After corresponding with four dealerships via e-mail, was able to narrow my choices down to two dealerships that offered the best terms. Visited the two dealerships today and returned to the one with the best terms. Ordered the following:
Anxiously awaiting an order number from the dealership so that the tracking can begin! Thanks to all for the help. Was able to capitalize on USAA discount and preferred pricing. |

Virginia Dealers
I started off with a firm commitment form Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, VA to beat all offers, but after 2013 Camaro pricing became available to them their quote came in several hundred too high for my build.
The two final dealers that both came in with very competitive quotes and terms were Pohanka Chevrolet of Chantilly, and Sterling Chevrolet. If anyone is interested in the exact price breakdown, PM me and I'll gladly fill you in (unsure of if publicly posting actual dealer negotiated pricing is a violation of rules and/or actionable by Chevrolet ) Looking forward to delivery date! |

Expect a Long Wait
Glade to see you have found a dealer to order your 2013.
Just be patient , it will be a while since you ordered the navigation. When you finally receive it: "It was worth the wait" |

Thanks
Thanks, TJR1952. My dealership has e-mailed me and stated that GM expects to begin production on the Nav units in mid-August. Hopefully, that will translate to a September delivery...

Nice ride and options, no sun roof?
Wish I got the Summit White with black stripes on my 2LT, just looks better to me than on a ZL1. Now both black. You'll love your new ride. |
