Maybe because your 2014 was built in a different factory(Canada)!

I believe it's actually straight and that the contour of the things surrounding it, I.e. windshield edge, dash, etc. aren't at the same line so it appears that it's not square. Lol jk I've noticed as well. Although it might be an optical illusion. Lol

I have sat in like five of these cars with HUD, and they all have that same "angle". I thought it may also be so if the HUD is set on full low, it won't overlap the hood bulge...

damn this thread... i always thought mine was crooked but chalked it up as normal window curvature or something.

Now my brain will never let me rest... lol

my 2012 SS was fine... I also have a C7 Corvette.. I noticed when I got it that it was off a bit.. just found this thread and now I know its not just me.. after all these pages of issues with it, I didn't see any fix or dealers saying they could or would fix it.. interesting..

Mine is straight. 2-6-17 build date.

However, I wish that it was centered. During normal driving, I can see the whole thing. No problem. But, if I move my head slightly to the right, it begins disappearing. I can move my head almost against the window to the left and it's still visible.

Every 6th gen HUD that I have seen is off in some way shape or form lol...just how they are it seems. Some of it is the curve of the window though...

Is anyone else have a crooked HUD?

At least your guys HUDS don't wiggle/vibrate while you drive or listen to loud music.

Bad HUD

Noticed it right away.. mine tilts 1-2 degrees counter clock-wise -- VERY distracting. The HUD also disappears when leaning to the right. Disappointing lack of quality on an important visual performance feature. I'm choosing to live with it rather than let the dealer rip apart the dash.

I was just going to post about the leaning right issue. I naturally am positioned just slightly to the right from center and it disappears on me. It drives me nuts...

Mine is titled as well. It was a bit blurry, a good windshield cleaning fixes the blur - mostly.

Well I will add my story in here. 2016 2SS. I don't ever recall it being crooked. I got a crack in the glass and got a new windshield. It was safelite aftermarket. As soon as I got in a noticed that it was crooked (high on the right) and it cut off just moving my head to the left. After googling and talking to Safelite, they ordered OEM glass for it. Replaced it today. It is better. It doesn't cut off like it did when I lean right. However, it is still slanted up. Now I am questioning whether it always did, or if it is the new glass.

Small sample size, I know, but 3 out of 3 of the 6th gens I've owned or tested had the HUD slightly tilted to the left. The angle seems to be between 0.5 and 2.5 degrees, which may be invisible to some and very irritating to others, as it's hovering on the brink of noticeability (if there's even such a word, heh).

Interestingly, it's the worst with the tach view, whose design tends to lead the eyes to believe the image is crooked even when it isn't; subjectively, the distortion is less displeasing with the other HUD views, at least in my car. I've pretty much gotten used to this by now, the itching impulse to want to rotate the lens is mostly gone.

How nice it would be to have angle adjustment that works either on the HUD projector or at the very least on the digital image being projected.

Hell, I can't even see mine. Not sure if there is actually a way for them to have made it work right, but the polarization of my sunglasses 99% blocks the HUD. Maybe it's the orientation of the LCD, or maybe the light polarizes the same way once it hits the windshield, but I do kinda wish I could actually see the damn thing during the day. Not giving up my polarized sunglasses to get it though.
