Fingers Crossed

ZR1 has it…
CTS-V has it…
I hoping my new Camaro has this option available. :Fingers Crossed:

I hope it at least has the same powerplant as the CTS-V, but I'm hoping it will have the 'Vette supercharger on it instead of the smaller CTS-V one. Time will tell...

Do we know if it is a smaller supercharger or just a different pulley creating less boost?

Hopefully its just a pulley.

E1900. Go buy it and slap it on your ls3 or whichever engine.

Answered my own question.

Cool article on the difference between a LSA and LS9.

Mindz, this article mentions a 2.3L and a 1.9L blower on the LS9 and LSA respectively. Is this the 1900 you are talking about?

Iunno. the ZR1 has an E1900 Eaton charger on it. I haven't done much research since I won't ever be able to afford it.

I guarantee you HPTuners will be working on a tuning solution immediately after the Camaro is released. You could always tune your own Camaro for an aftermarket supercharger using HPTuners.

i put a s/c on my TA and i wouldnt have a problem doing it to the camaro, i just was hoping to get it on the car as a stock part and it would be covered under the warranty. but if its too expensive ill probably make my own version of the top dog. throw on the blower and a big brake kit, new suspension and wheels and call it a day.

I could've swore I read the LS9 has the 2300 S/C on it and the LSA (CTS-V) has the 1900. If that's the case, no biggie, but I'd rather have the bigger LS9-sized S/C

The article I posted above says you are right.

I'm wondering what the supercharger difference is on the LS8.

I haven't found any articles that state the boost or litres on the LS8 blower.

Sorry; I missed that post I didn't mean to steal your thunder I just read that post.

Maybe to keep costs down, they are not going to forge everything and have the piston oil squirters and such. If they are all supercharged, and they have the same S/C (CTS-V/Camaro) then maybe different tuning and cams. You know Camaro drivers drive different then Cadillac drivers
