Okay, I wanted to post this where it would be appreciated. Yesterday I was the lone V6 racing at the Music City Fest drag event. I did not care that they all had a lot more HP than me, I was in it for fun! I wanted to put pedal to metal one time & let her gooooooooooooo! I wanted to just see what she could do. Well, we did not do too bad. Mind you I had never been on any sort of race track ever before. In the time trial I actually beat a heavily modified V8. Okay I readily admit he got a bit lose & backed off a bit. He assured me he was trying his best to beat me. Anyway, a win is a win & I will take it. In the race, okay I lost but not hugely. Ruby did alright! Boy was that fun!!!!!!!!!

All of us had mega permagrins that made our faces hurt.

Next stop the 1/4 mi drag srtip at Beach Bend. We will be ready for C5 Fest! Here are my time sheets (I am car 1175):

Very nice ruby!

Just converted your 1/8 mile run to what would of been expected 1/4 mile and got:

Your ET computed from your vehicle ET of 9.2608 seconds is 14.47 seconds in Quarter Mile.

Not bad at all

No now that he has his 2SS/RS Camaro the point is somewhat lost. I would still love to run against him in the Crossfire. BTW, the Crossfire is now my daily driver & a lot of fun to drive, just not as much fun as Ruby. It is keeping me from putting over 500 mi per week on Ruby though. Don't worry Ruby won't become a garage queen. I will still drive her some days. I need to keep my permagrin refreshed!
