I am fairly sure that I wasn't listening, due to the unbelievable urge to reach in my back pocket and say...

Pete has that affect on people, and I am building my resistance to the force.

Plus for Pete's sake (ha pun), really? Burning through rotors faster than pads? Someone needs to have an intervention with that man! Or get a key to headquarters, and grab us some rotors!!

Lol

I like to run custom made pad formulations in my more radical street car builds. The pads are very aggressive. Warm up one lap one and on lap two the brakes are throwing spark showers in the shade or at dusk and the rotors are glowing The pads squeal worse than a stuck pig and are twice as dirty. Or as RJ says, MAGIC Pads that make rotors disappear

ok, ok.....

So. Now I have to figure out what I want to do.

Got some bday money to spend. Just bought a Comforpedic King size bed today...holy heck is it awesome... And who'da thunk I'd ever buy a $120 pillow. I better sleep good.

But...

I can't figure out what I want to do...been thinking about it for a few...

Buy two new rear ZL wheels and have them painted...then pick up tires so I can go same size all the way around. or...

Ship off my two fronts to have them widened from 8's to 10's and go 315's in the rear (or 305's) and put the rears up front?

Or, do I buy a go pro and save the rest

Or, should I just bite the bullet and get my Simpson Speedway RX helmet that I've wanted for a while?

Crap....

Check out this helmet... I know it's a lot, but it sure as hell is nice....

and check out the paint job on the 2nd one. LOVE IT! I'd do this in a heartbeat if I could find someone who could do just as good of a job...

Lots of good choices there. If I were doing wheels I'd just buy 2 new rears so then you have spares for DRs or something (but I'm not sure how that would give you the same size all around... also not a fan of same size all around, but that's JMO)

The GoPro is definitely cool and you might find you'll spend more than you think on it with memory sticks and mounts.

Love the helmet and it's a one time, long lasting buy. Glad I spent a few extra bucks on mine.

I'm with mlee... not a fan of the same size wheels all around. If you want to drag race, then just get a pair for the back.

I have a GoPro and it is fun. There are a few extras you will want to get like the LCD screen for the back and some memory.

That helmet is cool!

Good luck with your decision. And, Happy Birthday!! (When is/was your bday?)
