I was hoping for a medium to light blue metalic in 2012 to replace synergy green. Guess that's off the table. DVD/GPS option would be nice. BTW, old news for most but I drove a 2 SS with HUD. Very nice with the HUD.

This carbon flash metallic should be called Carbon FlashBack because it reminds me of the metallics that were popular in the 60s and 70s.

Hopefully the Carbon Flash Metallic doesn't use the same metal flakes (xilliac, I think)that are used in IBM, CGM, SIM, and RJT because you can't order any of those colors now.
I've been holding out for a 2012 CGM and with the disaster in Japan, there isn't a replacement for the metallic flake yet.

Not really that 'weird' ... it's all about the evil 'blue oval'.

In Australia Ford hates red ... because of the Holden = red thing.

Goes to show how deep corporate branding goes.

Actually, Blue just does not sell that much. ABM was cut for this reason, not because of the blue oval

will the 2012 SS manual also have the CAGS shift option and will the current skip shift delete work on the 2012?

The 2012 should have CAGS and yes the aftermarket deletes should work. Can't say this is 100%, but I haven't heard of any changes to CAGS.

I think ABM was cut because when people saw the demo color on the website the car looked more teal than blue and it just didnt look as good as it does in RL.
