Your car is made to run regular gas. You may experience pre-detonation if you run higher octane fuel than is recommended. That is not a good thing. Someone can chime in if I'm mis-speaking.

yes the v6 cars are made to run 87.it says so in the manual i believe, only the v8 cars should run high octane(unless you have a supercharger on it then of course you need high octane)

You could run premium or just paypal me about $40 a month and get the same overall result. Loss of cash and nothing to show for it. On a serious note. There is no good reason for you to run premium in your car. It will run perfectly on 87. Use 89 if you feel like spending a few extra bucks but anything higher is just a waste of money.

and you have no idea what you are talking about. sorry for being so blunt.

Multiple v6er's have monitored their knock sensors while using both 87 and 91 octane. knock sensors were more active and pulling more timing when using 87.

will you notice any difference? no, but there is a difference.

Mid grade will help the performance and gas mileage. And with it being summer time gas quality it down..I wouldnt put 87 in any car, let alone a new car..don't listen to everyone, you're fine with whatever you choose, but premium may be a little much

You just validated my point. You won't notice any difference. Sure you don't care to rethink your strategy of stating i have no idea what i'm talking about before you agree with me?
