GMPP Shorty Headers?

Does anyone know whatever happened to these? They are in the GMPP catalog, but they don't seem to be available anywhere, including the GMpartsdirect website.

I want some headers, but I don't want to forfeit my warranty. Are they supposed to come out next year, or is thier future in question?

Dude I'm in the same boat as you, just check regularly with your dealerships parts department, I assume eventually they will be out.

But here is the GM link
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=92231566

If you go ahead and add it to the cart and place the order it they will send an email asking if you wish to keep the order active so when it comes available they will ship it.
They will not bill your card till it ships.

Have you ordered them? I wonder if it would be advantageous to order them now, since there could possibly be a backorder and long waiting list.

I hope that is the only way they are related! I have heard very unflattering things about the initial run of GMPP intakes. Absolutley ZERO HP gains.

Yes, updates would be great for the shorties, CAI, 4-pack gauges and remote start for 1SS/1LT.

Has any of you considered using the Doug Thorley shortie headers?

Yes, but I'd prefer GMPP. I know that they will be covered under warranty, no matter what dealer I go to for service.

Would using a Stainless Works Header header cause warranty concerns?

Whoever headers you use they look much better over time if they are coated before they are installed. Small price to pay for longevity. I coated my long tube headers and midpipes. Good Luck
