My best friend has a 350Z. I've driven his car, and he's driven mine. He freely admits he wouldn't stand a chance. I agree . I wouldn't race his built 455 Buick GS, though.

350Z's that are fairly stock like the One you mention are absolutely nothing. They don't hold a candle to old FBodies they're about 14+ sec car. Now the 370Z is supposively much better.

The person with the most track time will win. If you've never raced your car you will need to practice beforehand. Newbies at the track almost never get good times.
350z with a decent driver will net high 13s stock (my brother owns one). I've seen stock Camaro SS cars net the same results or higher with drivers that dont normally track their cars. If you do track the car you have nothing to worry about unless he has other mods. I vote 2 out of 3. Edit: Just to be fair my brothers first time at the track was a 14.85!!! LMAO

You already beat him: Your car looks 350 times better than his.
And, you could ask him to meet you at the track... but that the ante is that each of you must bring three friends along! |

Put some money on the line. Make it a friendly wager, agree that the loser pays the winner's track fee.
I've found that people usually dont make excuses after they lose money. If he does, offer to race again, but triple the wager. He will shut up then. |

As long as you do it on the drag strip, I'd say go for it. You will win unless you do something very dumb while racing him. Just don't use competitive driving mode, lol.

The 6.2 Camaro has a higher power to weight ration than the Z. You should be able to win.

Hello,
IMO you will wipe the floor with him, I did that to 3 350Z's (not on the street) and don't bother anymore.

He shrugged that off and said he could still take me. I have tracked other cars before not the SS yet though. I feel like I've got a pretty good grasp on what it takes to launch the car. I will tell him that I want to do a few test runs before we line up. Maybe he will see the times and back out.

A lightly modded v6 Camaro can beat a 350Z.
