I'm just curious if gm will post some recalls on the cover mine has never flown off but I know of many others who have lost theirs on the highway I'm about to drive my car up to Vegas but I'm sure it'll be with the top up being that it's hotter than hell

I've actually been raving about how good mine's doing since they replaced the tonneau (still the original design) however this past weekend it lifted and actually unhooked on the passenger side. First time that's happened since the replacement, and it seemed very well attached. Would definitely be interested in a redesigned cover!

Wow... very interesting with the foam blocks. Thanks pnyklr. Even the ends are different. There seems to be an extra piece that must tuck under something. It looks a bit weird the way you would hook those loops from underneath the cover while your putting it on. I hate to be a pain but can you take a picture of where the loops hook on the car. It seems by where those loops are on your cover that they would be in a different spot on the car than where our 2011's are. Thanks in advance. You're really helping us out.

No problem and I am here to help.

I will get some pictures of where the loop attaches sometime tomorrow when the sun is out.

That one looks identical to mine except for the way it locks in (obviously). Mine has the foam blocks also.

Mine does not have the foam blocks, interesting. I took some pictures of where the elastic attaches to hold the tonneau cover.

On the 11' tonneau covers, they had a pull tab to un-hook the top for removal, since the tabs just clipped onto the posts.
Since the 12' tonneau cover has the elastic loops, how do you un-hook the loops? Do you have to reach under the cover and pull the loops off?

Wildone- once you vet sick of that plastic buckling up around those posts, you can use a large washer from Home Depot between the post and the plastic which will hold it down and make accessing the post to clip the cover on a whole lot easier. Worked very well on mine

Hmmmm. That seems a bit awkward, is it? or is it easier than it sounds.
