Question on stock BA system
Is the stock amp system sending a 4ch stereo signal to the front components and the rear 6x9's? Or, are the rear 6x9's receiving more of a single channel lower freq for the lows?

The radio has a 4ch out that it sound to your oem amp the oem amp is then crossed over. And then it put out the amp single to speaker. So if you are trying to add an aftermarket system it is best to grab single from the back of the radio or at the input side of the oem amp

The reason for asking is if I replace the stock amp with a 4 ch amp, should the rear speakers be wired in 4ch stereo or bridged? I want to make sure I try to replicate the stock setup... Simply put, are the 6x9's only receiving a bass signal? Maybe a lame question, but I don't want to push high mids and highs through the 6x9's if that isn't the way they are currently wired in.

I wouldnt want to replicate the stock sound... If I were going aftermarket I would defenitily go for better sound than the crap BA system they put in these cars!
