Mine's manual, but it occurs regardless of the clutch position. But yes, it's very annoying.

I have a vibration problem that my dealer hasn't been able to fix, so far. I have a low frequency vibration whether accelerating or decelerating at speeds from about 20 mph to about 65 mph. They acknowledge the problem, but don't have a solution. They let me drive another new 2SS, also with an automatic tranny, and we found same problem, although not as severe. Mine has gotten worse with time (have 3000 mi. on it now). Supposedly this is now being discussed at level above the dealership.

My 2ss Camaro (auto) has a problem with a low frequency vibration which starts at approximately 58 mph, loudest at 63 mph and disappears at approximately 68 mph. At around 90 mph a small amount of vibration can be felt. My dealership has also acknowledged the problem, but they don't have a solution. I was given a FOM case number and I have contacted the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center and received a complaint case number.

2010 Camaro 2SS vibration problem

I'm still having the vibration problem that I described last month (low frequency vibration at all speeds above about 20 mph), whether accelerating, decelerating, coasting with the auto tranny in neutral and also with the engine turned off. I've taken it to two different dealers. The first one said that they tested other 2010 Camaro 2SS vehicles with the same problem but have no solution. The second dealer said that's the way it is supposed to be and gave me a copy of tech bulletin #2329788, which says that Active Fuel Management will cause "droan" while cruising around 20-25 MPH. My car even vibrates with the engine off, but the dealer just blew me off and didn't want to hear about it. I've contacted GM Customer Support, got a case file number, got the same answer as the second dealer gave me and then said my case was now closed. Great support! Looks like Lemon Law time.

Guys I have been having a bad vibration from the rear of the car. I assumed it was a wheel and tire issue but thats not the case. I had the car at my friends shop he was going to do the diff fluid change. He said the driveshaft looks offset. Could have been from the cars assembly. He is going to drop the rear subframe and see if he can line it up better, do a alignment all around and road test. My car is full worked underneath but the car sat for months and I haven't driven it pas 50 all winter. Now when I hit 75 it shakes bad. I hope i can get this fixed because I want to push the car harder up top but it feels like crap.

I cant confirm the angle or line up of the drive shaft. Does anyone know or have photos to show? I think you guys should look into this area for a fix.

I was contacted by GM today and GM acknowledges the vibration problem with the Camaro and they advised their engineers were working on a fix. I was also advised that no more repairs would be attempted on my Camaro until such time a fix has been found. GM was unable to give any type of time table for a possible solution.

If it's anything like the "fix" for the brake squeal, they'll probably stick 20 pounds of wheel weights on the driveshaft.

Does it do this in M mode? I seem to recall someone saying AFM doesnt activate in M mode so, if that is true, you could use that as a test.

Vibration

I checked with the Just Answer website regarding vibration at all speeds above 20 MPH even when coasting in neutral and the engine shut off. They said that this vibration is typically caused by play in the rear wheel drive shafts, and that the dealer needs to install shims between the driveshafts and the knuckles to take up the play. Has anyone had this done? My dealer ignored this idea and said there is nothing he can do. The unusual thing is that the frequency of the vibration is the same at any speed. It seems that the chassis must have a resonant frequency that amplifies even small vibrations to an annoying level. That might be a tough problem to resolve. 200 lbs. of added weight, maybe? LOL.

I have the same damn vibration when trying to accelerate out of a coast. It doesn't happen off the line.
