Girlfriend's makeup on headliner! Help!

Hopefully someone here has a suggestion as to what to use to remove makeup from an interior panel (I realize this may be one of the stranger detailing questions...)

The other night as my girlfriend was getting out of my Camaro she bumped her face up against the headliner right near the outer edge (the door opening area above side window). A little bit of the makeup she was wearing smudged on the black headliner piece and I'm a little unsure as to how to clean it without damaging the fabric covered panel. Any suggestions?

Much thanks in advance as I looking forward to returning to an "all black" interior.

I think you need to come up with a better story than that

Not sure what you could use without affecting the material, maybe start with a warm damp cloth? If you plan to use any remover of any kind, find an inconspicuous spot to test it on first......

Some Adam's Upholstery cleaner would work just fine. Next time y'all should be more careful when you're bumping up against the headliner

LOL..... suuuuuuuuuuuuure.... we believe you

Spray a little carpet & upholstery cleaner onto a towel (not directly onto the headliner) and wipe gently or blot at the area. A few treatments and it should be gone.
