T-Handle?

I sure would like to put a T-Handle on my factory short throw shifter, any clues where I could get one? The current stock knob just feels too dinky.

Bringing back an old thread to life!

My issue is this, I have a Hurst Knob and I am looking to install it onto my stock shifter. Okay, I know I need an adapter http://www.speeddawg.com/non-threade...shed-aluminum/ I plan on buying it. However, the boot what happens to it once I have the adapter installed does it just stay there in place and look awkward or do I buy an retainer for the boot http://www.speeddawg.com/camaro-poli...ainer-2010-12/

Also, does this Speeddawg adapter work in conjunction with the retainer? If so, will I run out of shaft... LOL... to fit both adapter and retainer? Or does it work? I am getting so confused on what will work. I do not want the boot pulled all the way up to the the shift ball therefore, I thought that if I use a retainer it would bring the boot down and "clean-up" the look of the entire shifter in general.

Anyone have an answer or suggestion or prior installation tips to accomplish what I am trying to do here. And NO I don't want to buy the aftermarket Hurst Short Throw Billet Plus because I am comfortable with my current (OEM) shifter... im just trying to change the look that is all.
