Couldn't bring myself to pay 500$ for the new colored panels but I wanted to do something to bring a little color to the inside of the car. I saw this done with cloth piping somewhere on here in a DIY thread and decided I would go the vinyl route since it looks more rigid and stock.

Picked this stuff up really cheap and install only took about 30 min total. I did have to take a lot of breaks because it was 99 degrees in my garage. Anyway, for under 20 bucks this mod really helps out the interior.

install is easy, just need a trim tool or screw driver to pry the trim back in a couple places. It will not go in the very end small portion of the door trim, maybe if I had tried a lot harder but it was way to hot and it looks fine when the door is closed anyway.

Thats when it is the hottest in my garage, the damn sun beats on it from about 4:00 on and it is almost to hot to be in there, maybe I should stop spending money on mods and insulate my garage, lol.

Luckily for me the sun starts setting behind my house so my garage isn't bad after 3. Still hot, but I can stay in there for a bit

Looks awesome! I'm planning a stealth abl with my piping. Elwire fits perfectly in place of the string and shines through for a soft accent. Hopefully I'll have mine up and installed in a few weeks.
