Ive never heard of it, which means it wont end up being one of the suggestions if you ask people in the bolt on section.

Stainless works retro chambered, SOLO, borla, corsa, are all popular on C5.

What kind of sound (volume and tone) do you want to end up with?

Thanks guys I'm just debating on going to my local exhaust shop because a lot of the axle backs are 500+ dollars! I'm finding online.

You need to plan ahead for what type of sound you eventually want.

You may regret a loud axleback later on if you delete you get headers, cats, x pipe, etc.

$500 may sound like a lot for just a axleback but stop and think about what you're getting. Many of the good mufflers are $100-$150 each and nice tips, especially double walled, can run $50-$100+/each as well. Add in piping and getting the hangars welded on to make the mufflers sit just right, and you're up in the $500 range. Axlebacks can easily be installed in your garage with a set of jackstands and a sawzaw or hacksaw so no shop labor charges. There are many axlebacks that are cheaper than $500 though.

Solo's typically come with some nice tips as well. Many people don't realize just how expensive a set of nice tips can be.

Thanks everyone for the responses. And thinking about it your right with the nice tips and hangers and having everything come ready to go is worth it, I'm going to shop around does anybody have any recommendations, I have the factory ground effects so I'm finding its more limited because not all axle backs fit with the ground effects.

All true but getting the clamps tight enough is not altogether easy. Many end up having to pay for a spot weld as a minimum. Just saying you need to factor that in to the total cost.

Quality sets come with quality clamps, modern systems are precise enough that you dont need to weld anymore.

The entire factory system isnt welded. Trust me, you dont need any welding done for a quality axleback or cat back, or headers, or high flow cats

Might be I need an impact wrench then but the MRT axlebacks definitely keep rotating. Don't know what that says about the quality.
