As you post - I see a black/white sig...."UF4LIFE102SS" is written to the upper left, and a smokey skull appears of the hood of a gorgeous black Camaro...

Is that the one you had, that now you can't see?

Another moderator might have edited it. As one of the rules is no animated sigs

I was wondering the same when I saw mine disappear. All I had was one of those animated smiley driving a Camaro next to the Rustang.

Its not that your sig was inappropriate or anything it's that the site does not allow animated sigs. Why? Because it slows down the site. Imagine if everyone had an animated sig and the people with slow internet had to try and load the pages with all those animations. Thats my guess.

Yep, I personally think that is one of the best parts of our website. Pages load fast. If you had it for a long time, most likely we just now took notice.

As explained in the rules:
Quote:
9) Signature Limitations — Height: 200 pixels; No animated images. We apologize for any individual inconvenience, however this results in threads that are much easier to read, and load much faster so you can make the most of your time online!
The 200 pixel limit is automatically enforced (anything beyond gets cutoff, including text) but animated sigs are up to the staff to deal with.

This is exactly the reason. The policy has nothing to do with content - purely to keep things loading quickly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We want a website as fast as our cars. We don't mean any harm.

Exactly.

If I deleted it (and I can't remember....had to take out a few)...then I apologize for not getting with you to tell you. I know I don't always send a message to folks when I do. Bad habit as I'm usually flying through things... I know... Sorry if that was me.

I had an administrator delete my signature. I don't have a problem following the rules but when I sent them a message they didn't have the decency to respond at all. I think it's time for new administrators!!! Maybe some that have a little compassion. And FYI my signature was not animated nor was it inappropriate.

lol it does not work that way. This site has only 2 Admins. Since they are users #1 and #2, it's a pretty safe assumption at least one, if not both own the site.

You can always find staff here, - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showgroups.php
