I had my parts guy look up the prices for the Recaro's just yesterday. Right now they are listed at $2,000 each.

Just picked up an SS last Friday that was built for the Utah Auto Show. The Recaros are great---looks, fit , and comfort! Thanks to everyone at Recaro for a quality product!

I just got my 2010 SS out of the body shop after two months of repair. My side airbags deployed and they had to take my car to a Chevy dealer to reflash the computer because of the air bag deployment. I have headers and a tune. I don't think the reflash affected the tune or I'd be getting error codes from the headers. Interestingly, my car failed the emissions test because two sensors reported "Not Ready", the O2 sensor and Evap control. Eventually the evap control cleared, but not the O2. I was told this is normal after a reflash and you need to drive 50-75 miles to get the computer to relearn. I found out today though, that during those relearning miles you can't exceed a certain speed, which I did so if I ever want my O2 sensor to be "ready" I'll have to find out what those relearn parameters are.

The driver will swap out without a hitch, It's the passenger that's the issue. There is a difference in the tps sensor, You can either swap out the electronic components with your stock seat OR (and increasingly less likely for help) switch them out and hope the dealer will fix the error with updated flash. Not sure if this helps.

My dealership is Tom Henry, so I'm not worried about them being all uncomfortable with flashing the car. My thought is they would be flashing the BCM, not the PCM. Is that correct? If so, then my Frost tune should be untouched, correct?

But not a bad buy considering what else you get along with the seats.
