I know it's sold, but for those that do not know - they might learn something. The T400 is a 3 speed. Used to have 'em in the dump trucks at work behind big block Chevy motors. THOSE were stout factory transmissions.

Good luck running killer 1/4 mile ET to whomever got the T400. They are like 2 speed Powerglides....indestructible.

for the others who also DONT KNOW, a common thing now is removing the high gear and making it a two speed like a power glide but stronger than a glide.

this trans WAS a 2 speed, had it sold as a three speed so i sent back to FTI to have third installed, now the customer cant afford it so its back up for sale as a 3 speed.
