Talking Newer pics of my CGM SS with iForged 22s

Some of you may have seen the how-to article I wrote recently on installing Pfadt lowering springs. The article showed the car with the factory wheels. Here is how it looks with the 22s on it.

Details:

iForged "Sprint" wheels, 3-piece construction
Matte black centers, chrome lips
22x9 fronts with 265/30-22 Pirelli PZero Nero tires
22x11 rears with 315/25-22 Pirelli PZero Nero tires
Pfadt lowering springs (1.00-1.25" drop)

Hope you like it.

Tony

Have you ran the car hard with the 22's on? How does it feel/perform?

The 22s and the springs do make the ride a bit stiffer, but it isn't horrible at all. Stock Camaro feels too floaty and soft to me, it needs to tighten up anyways. Keep in mind that 22" wheels are just a +1 sizing from the factory, since Chevy offers a factory 21" wheel.

I don't carry tires, as the price to do so wouldn't be cost effective. Custom manufactured wheels would ship directly to your door, shipping them here to mount tires first would add another $200 or more due to shipping costs. Cheaper to buy tires locally in that situation.

Very tastefully done Nine Ball, the car looks great. How much clearance do you have on the inside of the rears from the wheel well. Were you able to just put the rears back into the factory camber setting?

Camaro was lowered only a few days ago, I haven't had a chance to get it re-aligned yet. Probably about an inch left behind that tire on the inside.

Thanks, I am running 20x11.5 in the rear with 315/35/20's and have about 3/4", I will be lowering it 1.25"-1.5" later this month with coilovers so I am just trying to see if I may run into any problems. I know others are running 305's and 315's in the rear without issues but it never hurts to ask.

Thanks again...
