Welcome aboard. What a nice find & beautiful color. I still can't believe they stopped making it. All the better for you though. Now they they have stopped making my color (RJT) - good for me. You are going to just keep loving that permagrin inducing machine & spending time on C5 among comrads here. See ya around the site!

No, I bought it from a dealer in Pittsburgh. My brother saw it sitting in the showroom and called me on a Sunday to tell me about it. I was there monday morning to look at it, and negotiations began. By Friday morning I drove it home. I really had no idea the color was as rare as it is, I just knew it was a looker, and a color I rarely saw. My main criteria was condition, milage, and manual trans... the color was a bonus!

I plan to leave it pretty much stock, but may do a few minor upgrades... Already considering swapping out the stock SS badges and bowties for the SLP heritage SS kit. The retro style 1/4 panel trim pieces were on it when I bought it... I'm considering taking them off, but to be honest I sorta like the nod to 1969 they evoke.

approx 3610 were built in that color and finding one for sale is rare all in its own! Quite a few members own abms on here.. check out the abm thread! I went up to Oshawa last month for the big GM open plant tour and Oshawa group meet ( called BBOMG) and we counted 20 ABMS in the lot, including mine. Not many out of over 400 cars there! You truely have one of the few awsome blue and I welcome you to the ABM family!

Welcome to the Camaro and more specifically, the ABM Camaro family!

Hold on to that car...roughly 3% of the 2010s are in that color...I know I love mine.

I know I saw a Camaro exactly like that a few days ago when I was at work. Did you happen to get gas at the Rutter's in Dillsburg? That's where I work. I drive the pewter 02 Z28 that's always parked to the side of the building.

yes SHE!! last night this guy stopped in with my hubs mom and I had to make a quick trip to the store... so when I went to get in, he said " cool we get to hear it start!" didnt sit well with me! isnt the old saying "start her up??"
